Projections on high - VJZoo on High will illuminate buildings on High Street on 1, 2, 3 and 4 Dec 2011 from 7.30–9.30 pm

My work "Dis-embark-ation" is a playful look at travel, the tourist and appropriation.
The ritual of the holiday slide show of exotic locations and favourite places, all documented as evidence of the journey is revisited with painted images. The bright colours, strong patterns and ethereal images resonate of other cultures.
The tourist/photographer/collector is also captured and replicated in various stages as part of the ritual and has now become part of the journey, no longer just a spectator.

12 November 2011
In conjunction with the Beaufort Street Festival, "Artists in Arms "artists Judith Brooks, Alba Cinquini and Oliver Sage will feature their work in neighbouring Raglan Street.

"Art off Beaufort" on Raglan - has brought fine art to the curb side with some residents offering their front yards and verges to exhibit works by established and emerging artists.
The Artists in Arms Foundation raises funds for youth in crisis as well as promote art to the wider community. So wonder on up with your cappuccino and view some amazing artwork. All works will be for sale.

In true surrealist style where meaning is obscured, "La Paparazza" has replaced the iconic eye with the camera lens. The spectator now becomes the subject while the garment the voyeur!
